History
Large Animal Medicine and Surgery, PA was opened on January 1, 1980. Dr. Andy Gardner began the practice as a mobile clinic for large animals in the Salisbury area treating horses, cattle, sheep, goats, pigs and exotic animals. The practice grew and in 1986 a state-of-the-art hospital facility was built to allow for more in-depth medicine and surgery
Facilities
Large Animal Medicine and Surgery, PA (LAMS) has fully equipped mobile units as well as a hospital facility. The mobile units are used to provide care for animals on the farm. The hospital has an equine treatment area with stocks, a laboratory, and a surgery/recovery suite. There are stalls for hospitalized patients as well as an isolation area. The hospital also has a cattle area with a chute system.
Our Team
Large Animal Medicine and Surgery, PA currently has three experienced veterinarians, one full-time technician, one part-time technician, and one full-time office administrator.
